FAQ

FAQs

  • Who provides the alcohol?

You'll purchase the alcohol and we will serve it, which is why most of our mixology services include a shopping consultation.

PA and NJ liquor law prohibits us from purchasing or selling alcohol.

No one knows your guests better than you! This allows you to select the menu that works best with your budget. We'll work with you and make suggestions to help create your drink menu, and we'll also provide guidance for how much alcohol to purchase for your event.

  • Do you check ID?

PA and NJ liquor laws require us to check ID for anyone who appears to be under the age of 35.

  • Can you serve shots?

We're unable to serve shots at our events. This also includes serving liquor neat or on the rocks.

  • Can guests serve themselves?

We cannot allow guests to serve themselves. This means no open coolers or beers for guests to help themselves.

If a guest prefers a specific liquor and mixer and would like to bring their own, we're more than happy to serve them.

  • What's your policy on cutting people off?

While it's never fun, we are required to cut off anyone who appears visibly intoxicated.

Our main priorty is for you and your guests to have the best time! However, the safety and well-being of everyone is equally important.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

A non-refundable 50% deposit is due at contract signing to save your date.

In the case of a weather cancellation for outdoor events, we're more than happy to reschedule your event within two months of the originally scheduled date, pending availability of the Designer Drinks team.
